About the Owner - Colin Linkul

Colin is a husband, father of six, Fircrest resident, and the owner and operator of Saint Joseph’s Contracting. The company is intentionally kept small because Colin enjoys being personally involved in every part of the business, from meeting with customers and preparing estimates to planning, painting, finishing, and completing the work itself.

Unlike larger companies where a project may move from an estimator to a project manager and then to a separate painting crew, Saint Joseph’s Contracting is built around a much more direct approach. Colin is the person you meet, the person you communicate with, and the person doing the work in your home. Keeping the business small allows him to focus on quality rather than volume and to maintain a high level of attention to detail from the first conversation through the finished project.

Painting has also been part of Colin’s family for generations. His grandfather managed a painting company for decades and regularly painted homes throughout his neighborhood, and Colin first learned from his father.

Colin’s background has also shaped the way he approaches his work. He played Division I football as an outside linebacker at West Point, graduated with a degree in management, and went on to serve as a Special Forces officer and detachment commander during 14 years in the Army. That combination of leadership, training, and experience translates naturally into the way he runs projects today: careful planning, organization, timeliness, clear communication, attention to detail, and following through on what was discussed.

Saint Joseph’s Contracting is not built around completing as many projects as possible. It is built around taking on the right projects, giving each one the time and attention it deserves, and delivering a professional finished result.
